STAGE 01 · LP ACCOUNT

Records the member owns. Consent the member grants.

LP Account is the consumer-controlled records primitive at the base of the Zion stack — a cross-functional account for social services, healthcare, certified classes, workforce training, and intake-to-care tracking.

01 · TWO ACCOUNT TYPES

One product, two audiences — built so neither has to learn the other’s vocabulary.

FOR · COMMUNITY

One account that tracks every benefit, document, and class.

Members own their records: ID, income, immigration, housing, learning, health. Expiry-aware. Shared by consent. Re-usable across every partner in the network.

FOR · LOCAL PARTNERS

Caseload, eligibility, recerts, and cliff alerts in one place.

Partner orgs work the same record set the member sees. Single intake. Single eligibility screen. Single document store. No more "fax the paystub again."

02 · CAPABILITIES

A single ledger — the visual signature of the product.

Select a record type to see how it works in LP Account.

Identity

ID, SSN, birth certificate, immigration. Encrypted, member-owned, share-by-grant.

Upload a document once and it’s yours. Every file is encrypted and stored under the member’s own account; share-by-grant means an agency only sees it when the member explicitly grants access — and the grant can be revoked at any time from Requests and consents.

When a document is added, LP Account automatically reads it and extracts the key fields, so an ID or birth certificate becomes structured, reusable data instead of a photo buried in an inbox. The member can open the original file anytime, review the extracted details on the confirmation screen, and see exactly who currently has access.

Income

Paystubs, employer letters, offers, gig statements. Expiry-aware and automatically re-verified where partners support it.

Income documents are expiry-aware: LP Account tracks how current each paystub or letter is and, where a partner supports it, re-verifies automatically — so the member isn’t re-uploading the same proof every month.

Extracted amounts and text are surfaced the moment a document is confirmed, ready to attach to an eligibility check or a recertification without anyone re-keying the numbers.

Housing

Lease, utility, rental history, voucher documentation. Linked to housing-program intake when granted.

Housing records link directly to housing-program intake when the member grants it — a lease or voucher letter flows to the right caseworker instead of being faxed and re-faxed.

Local partners and housing options are discoverable on an interactive map, so a member can find a program and share the exact documents it asks for in a few taps, all from one place.

Health

Insurance cards, immunization records, referrals, clinical handoffs. Member-controlled, never sold.

Health records are member-controlled and never sold. Beyond storage, LP Account connects the member to their care team: a secure, direct member↔care-team message channel and a shared calendar of appointments, referrals, and clinical handoffs mean a referral doesn’t get lost between offices.

The member sees every upcoming visit in one place — and can join virtual visits straight from the calendar.

Learning & certifications

Workforce training, OSHA, CNA, food handler, ESL. Issuer-attested. Portable across employers.

Certifications are issuer-attested and portable: an OSHA card or CNA certificate earned through one employer travels with the member to the next, shareable by grant.

The Learning Hub keeps credentials current and ready to present, so a qualification never has to be re-earned just because the paperwork moved on.

Benefits

SNAP, WIC, TANF, child care, energy assistance, EITC. Status, expiry, recert dates — never lose a benefit to paperwork again.

The Social Needs hub shows every benefit at a glance — status, expiry, and recertification dates — and lets the member act on a recertification inline, before a deadline passes.

Recert reminders, partner support, and the member’s own documents all sit in one view. The whole point: never lose a benefit to paperwork again.

Cliff Planner

Models how a raise, a new job, or a household change moves the household across benefit cliffs — before the cliff hits.

The Cliff Planner models how a raise, a new job, or a household change moves a family across benefit cliffs — the points where earning a little more quietly costs more in lost benefits than it adds in pay.

It surfaces predictive alerts before the cliff hits, so the member and their case manager can plan around it instead of being blindsided.

03 · CONSENT-GRANT FLOW

Records move only when the member says so — and only to where the member said.

Consent-grant flow diagram Three columns: Member, Consent Grant, Partner. Records flow from the member through an explicit, time-bound, scope-limited consent grant to the partner. Member can revoke at any time. MEMBER Owns the records Identity · Income · Housing Health · Learning · Benefits Encrypted at rest, in transit, at every internal boundary. REVOCABLE · ANY TIME CONSENT GRANT Time. Scope. Purpose. Every share is bounded. EXPIRES · 30 DAYS SCOPE · INCOME + HOUSING PURPOSE · HOUSING APP SIGNED · MEMBER + PARTNER LOCAL PARTNER Serves the member Receives exactly what was granted. No re-asking. No duplicate intake. No collateral data. AUDIT TRAIL · IMMUTABLE GRANT DELIVER

Consent-grant flow · LP Account → Partner

Every share is bounded by three things: time (the grant expires), scope (only the record types named in the grant), and purpose (a stated reason on the record). The member signs the grant. The partner signs receipt. An immutable audit trail makes the entire chain visible to the member at any moment, and revocable at any moment.

There is no shadow data store, no "for marketing purposes" carve-out, no buried consent in a terms-of-service refresh. The Charter binds the company against the patterns that would make any of those possible.

04 · INTEROPERABILITY

LP Account is independent — and pair-bonded with Zion’s OutPosts.

LP Account is the records primitive. OutPosts (ZOP) is the community platform built on top of it. Partners using OutPosts can serve LP Account members directly; members can browse OutPosts outposts from inside LP Account. Neither product requires the other to exist, and both follow the same Charter.
