STAGE 03 · OASIS

Where the network becomes infrastructure.

Oasis is the post-Series-A expansion. Once LP Account and OutPosts are in the world at scale, Oasis turns the network into civic infrastructure — and a creator economy that funds public goods from inside the platform.

Stages 01 and 02 build the records primitive and the convening surface. Stage 03 — Oasis — is what becomes possible once those two products are operating at meaningful scale in dozens of metropolitan markets. Oasis is two complementary expansions on top of the same stack.

1 · Creator economy

OutPosts networks are full of practitioners, educators, and community businesses who already serve their neighborhoods — a CNA running a weekend caregiving training, a doula building a referral practice, a community college instructor selling an OSHA certification. Today these earners stitch their income from Cash App, Eventbrite, Stripe Atlas, and a Google Sheet. Oasis gives them a first-class earning surface inside the platform — discovery, scheduling, payment, payout, and tax-reporting — with the household and the case manager already in the room.

The economics: a 5–10% commission band on transactions inside Oasis. The lower end matches the best consumer marketplaces; the upper end matches niche professional marketplaces. The band exists because some categories require more trust-and-safety, dispute, or licensure overhead than others.

The commission revenue funds public goods inside the platform. That phrase is not a slogan — the Charter and the Mission Trust constrain how the surplus may be allocated. The default allocation is published annually in the Impact Report and ratified by the Trust Advisory Board.

2 · Civic infrastructure

The second arm is the procurement-ready side: open APIs and endpoints that cities, counties, and foundations can wire into. A county Department of Social Services can issue eligibility decisions to LP Account members via Oasis APIs. A foundation can disburse program funds directly to a verified member with a one-time grant. A health system can issue clinical handoffs to community-based organizations on the network.

This is the layer that turns the company into critical-path infrastructure — and the layer the Charter and the Trust were designed to protect from being bought, throttled, or repriced by a future acquirer. Public infrastructure built on shifting terms is not infrastructure.

Why this is the third stage, not the first

Oasis cannot be built before LP Account and OutPosts are real. The creator economy needs an installed base of community members and partner organizations transacting against shared records. The civic infrastructure needs proof that the records primitive is durable, audited, and trusted by the population it serves. Trying to ship Oasis first would be Solving Cold Start Twice — once for the marketplace, once for the procurement contracts. We sequence to avoid that.
